Race Program |
Drivers Edge Race Program:
 The schedule for the 2006 season is to run 5 National Open Series races,
5 Lucas Oil Division 1 races and 3 national events.
This type of schedule is time consuming and demanding on the race team.
However, the information gathered at these events is crucial to the success
of the company.
Driver:
Steve Negrini, 53 Years Old, feels like he stays young by participating in
the sport of Drag Racing. Steve depends on his reflexes and consistency
to help him win races.
Team Management:
Steve and Maureen co-manage the Race Program. Being involved in a race team
forces everyone to stay focused, plan and execute that plan in order to
be successful. Many hours during the off-season are spent planning the following
years activities. Steve focuses on preparing the race car, while Maureen
focuses on the tow vehicle. Steve and Maureen team up to work on the trailer.
They carefully plan the race schedule to coincide with any sponsorship events.
Other Help:
The team receives a lot of help from many of his friends who also race. The
help is reciprocated amongst the group on an as needed basis.
